Partiya  Asim Mollazade delivered a speech at the event dedicated to Azerbaijan Independence Day-
The chairman of the Party for Democratic Reforms, Asim Mollazade attended the solemn event  on the occasion of celebration Azerbaijan  Independence Day in Australia. MP of Milli Majlis mentioned that today this issue became very topical in the world and Azerbaijan can be good example for other countries.

In his speech Asim Mollazade talked about traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism in Azerbaijan.
The event was organized by the Azerbaijan-Australia Friendship Society in Perth. Azerbaijani ambassador in Australia Rovshan Jamshidov, chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for International Relations and Inter-parliamentary ties Samad Seyidov, Head of Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Khanlar Fatiyev, honorary consul of Azerbaijan in Western Australia Aydan Rzyeva delivered a speech at the event.

Speakers gave detailed information about Azerbaijan and Armenian-Azerbaijanian conflict. They talked about political and economical successes Azerbaijan has gained after restoring its independence. It was also mentioned that international organizations support the fair position of Azerbaijan on Karabagh conflict.

The former head of inter-parliamentary friendship group from Australia Luke Simpkins, the head of Azerbaijan-Australia Friendship Society John Hammond and MP of parliament of Western Australia Elisabeth Behjat underlined that today Azerbaijan is a bridge connecting  Europe with Asia. 
As part of the visit MPs from Azerbaijan have met with speakers of Western-Australian House and Western Australia Senate.
